Mon June 22: Special Cmte. on a Livable Bostn

Boston City Council's Special Committee on a Livable Boston (chaired by City Councillor John R Connolly) will be holding the first of a series of public hearings on Monday, June 22 at 6pm in the 1st floor conference room of Curtis Hall, 20 South Street, Jamaica Plain.

The purpose of this committee is to examine the recession's impact on individuals living in the city of Boston, and to develop strategies to attract and retain individuals and families from all walks of life who will make Boston home for a lifetime.

This meeting will focus on the neighborhoods of Roslindale, JP, and Mission Hill, but is open to all. Residents will have the opportunity to voice their opinions and ideas about life in their neighborhoods.
